At the heart of the bustling financial district in Shenzhen lies the Furis International Private Club, a sanctuary designed to evoke a sense of tranquility amidst the city's dynamism. The space embodies a delicate balance between contrasting elements; falling and floating, roughness and delicacy and freedom and order. This project aims to create visible illusions that harmonize sensibility with rationality, offering an escape from the urban chaos and a pursuit of serene harmony.
Xie Peihe articulates this vision eloquently: "We are creating visible illusions, including the conflict between the falling and the floating, the dialogue between roughness and smoothness, the coexistence of freedom and order, and asymmetrical symmetry. Through these illusions, emotion and rationality complement each other in the space. What AD ARCHITECTURE seeks to achieve is a kind of quietness in the bustling city, as well as harmony between opposites."
The Furis International Private Club serves as a pivotal meeting place for Shenzhen's financial elite. It is designed to foster interactions and focus, providing a retreat where individuals can engage more deeply with one another. The space operates at the intersection of private and public realms, emphasizing privacy while facilitating reception and negotiation. This duality transforms the clubhouse from a mere container into a dynamic place enriched by the interactions and purposes of its users.
AD ARCHITECTURE has meticulously crafted the clubhouse to allow for both certainty and spontaneity. The design encourages a fluid, harmonious experience, where the space adapts to the unfolding stories of its occupants without imposing upon them.
In this clubhouse, light and objects interact in a subtle, symbiotic manner. The space acts as a mediator of light, which in turn interacts with the objects, creating new spatial emotions. This interplay enhances the atmosphere, making the space feel both dynamic and serene.
The design of Furis International Private Club exudes a unique neutrality that, while not immediately surprising, reveals pure sensitivity in its details. Three private rooms span three floors, optimizing privacy and independence while maintaining a cohesive spatial experience. This vertical connection underscores the explicit quality of contemporary reception spaces, addressing the need for high-quality environments in social and business interactions.
